Challenge #3 & Challenge #9 (Two-fer)
Okay, here's a two-fer since I'm still not feeling all that hot. One I did last week when I was feeling "normal". This is a digi kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs by Manda Bean "Boom, I Got Your Boyfriend". It includes my material item (challenge #9)....my pink Ipod and its IHome. And there is a list (Challenge #3) of random songs from my "playlists" while on shuffle.

Update
Went to the OB/GYN this morning, not anything wrong with my female parts. YAY! He referred me to a surgeon, who was tied up in surgery all day but could see me at 4pm. Arrived slightly early to my 4pm appointment and was told the Dr. was running 1/2 hour behind. No prob! At 4:30pm, the nurse came in and said "I'm sorry, the doctor is cancelling all appointments for this afternoon. We'll have to reschedule for Monday"....Are you KIDDING me? My OB talked DIRECTLY to the surgeon this morning and told him "She needs to be seen today to rule out appendicitis, I'm pretty sure that's what it is.".....so, now if it gets worse over the weekend, I go back to the ER (and another $200 co-pay) and get the "surgeon on-call"....needless to say, not very happy with lack of tact. If he knew he was over booked for surgeries, wouldn't you think he'd have said "She should go to so-and-so because I'm not sure I can get her in today". At 4:30pm on a Friday I am getting in no where else. UGH!! So, it's been a frustrating day and now I am waiting it out until Monday at 9am. Will let ya all know then what the deal is....thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

~Under the weather
I may be a little scarce in the next couple of days.....I spent the bulk of Wednesday (10am to 4pm) in the ER for some severe right abdominal pain. They at first thought appendicitis. Tests for that and gall bladder attack came back fine. The only thing they noticed was an enlarged right ovary and a "missing" cyst that had been there in previous CT's. Talked to my OB/GYN this morning as his office is closed on Thursdays. He said if the pain didn't worsen today to come into his office in the morning. If it did worsen, go straight to the ER. Didn't worsen, but hasn't gone away....ugh! And the drugs have worn off, even better.
So, if I am laid up in the hospital, I will update my Facebook and Megan and Christina are on there so I am hoping one of them will update you. Although, if I end up having surgery, my DH will HAVE to bring me my laptop or I will go stir crazy!
So, say a prayer that it's nothing major and I'll update you when I can. Keep scrappin' chicas!!!

All sorts of randomness - and a Winner!
Whew, amidst all the birthday fun today, I almost forgot to pick a winner. Forgive me! This week's winner is Stephani...email me at teela1974@yahoo.com Steph and I will get your package out to you. Christina, yours is getting mailed tomorrow....sorry, I had wonderful intentions of getting to the post office, but my work schedule has been whacked out and well, it sat at the bottom of the list of things to do.
Megan, the little deer you can find here at Unity Stamp Company. 30% off today with the code "SCS" so hurry!!! I'll send you an email too, just in case you don't check here. I agree, he is too cute!
I'll be emailing you all the final itinerary for our trip to PEORIA. That is the winner so be on the lookout.
Um, that should be all for today. I am way full from dinner and drinks and ice cream, so it's off to bed I am going. Hope you all got to enjoy the wonderful weather yesterday.

Our First Home {Challenge #10}
Just picked this paper up at Scrapaganza. It is Fancy Pants Kraft Kutz line. Stamps are my new obsession from Unity Stamp Company. They make rubber stamps that adhere to your acrylic stamp blocks. Saves you storage and still get that CLEAN, CRISP rubber stamp image.

Mom {Challenge #6}
My mom in a photo from her bridal portrait session. Isn't it funny, I didn't have bridal session photos but my mom did and my cousin's wife just had them done last year....apparently, it's coming back "in style".

Music brought to you courtesy of 1974-1975
I am adding you all to my birthday craziness.....to get in the mood for my THIRTY-FIFTH birthday (still 9 days away).....I have added music from Billboard's Top 100 for 1974-1975. I included 1975 because y'all know I wasn't really movin' and groovin' until I could stand, which technically would have been 1975. Anyway, enjoy the tunes....they have me cracking up!

Laundry is not supposed to make you happy!
Is it? Then why am I so FLIPPIN excited that these arrived today?? A little bit of our decision to try and be a little more energy efficient this year. Less water, less gas usage. Better for the environment, and seriously, if I can fit a KING size comforter in here, can you imagine how many LESS loads of laundry I will have to do! Guess that is where happy comes into play. The girls were pretty excited that they could fit inside the dryer.....silly girls. No, they are not even in the laundry room yet, so no need to call DCFS on me....they are just sitting waiting to be moved. However, they are already loved.... :o)

Live 4 the Fair......{Challenge #10}
Okay, so I already did my two challenges for the week, but since y'all have bonuses you can complete in the last week....here's one of my bonuses early. Remember you can pick any two challenges for bonuses! Not just the last two.
New Sassafrass, Scenic Route, Pebbles and Jenni Bowlin in the house! I'm also submitting this one for the Scrapaganza blog challenge. I turned the layout sideways....in case it doesn't look right :o) My girls LIVE for fair week....we go every night and eat funnel cakes, corn dogs, lemon shake ups....oh, I am going to miss that this year since I am on a workout/diet routine to lose the chemo weight. So far, it's kicking good. Down one pant size already. YAY!

{Lucky number 60}.......Challenge #5 Blurry photo
Celebrating my dad's 60th birthday at Texas Roadhouse...the blurry photo is the one of him on the horse while we are singing "Happy Birthday". He really didn't want to get on that horse, but the grandkids were a little persuasive. He hopped on and off so quickly that all I got out of it was a blurry photo...but, still a memory! :o)

Challenge 2: Use a song for a title {Rhinestone Cowboy}
Okay, Megan, here are those pics scrapped. Only thing that is missing is the tickets I scanned in to my computer but my scanner is acting up. I will add them in the future. Ragtag Cowboy Digi Kit by Dani Mogstad, downloaded from the Sweet Shoppe.

Challenge 1: Go Digi!!
My nephew Patrick and my husband Lance have a love/hate relationship. They love to tease each other and hate to be teased by the other....lol! Since "P" as we call him is our only nephew, Lance likes having him around to do "dude" things together. For this, we both feel very blessed and lucky. As much as my girls are tomboys too, there are just some things (like Tim Taylor grunting) that are reserved just for men. Patrick was born on St. Patrick's Day, so all the more fitting to use the "lucky" theme. Enjoy!
